Mr. james Uchenna Okpe is one of the Managing Partners Of Oludavids and Co.He doubles as the Managing Partner Of heman Professional Services (Chartered Accountant), a sister auditing firm. he is a member of both the institute of Chartered Accountant Of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Texation of Nigerian (CITN) He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree (B.Sc)in Accounting and Master of Science Degree (M.Sc) in Accounting as well as Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Mr.james has professional training with two world leading accounting/auding firms namely KPMG and Akintola Williams Deloitte. He coomenced his professional career as a trainee with KPMG in 1998 through 2003 and thereafter moved to Akintola William Deloitte in 2003 His Professional Career with the Foremost accounting and consulting firm spanned throught 11years.
While he was in service at DEloitte and KPMG he handled task such as assurance and advisory, taxation, company secretarial and consulting assignment. He was also involved in key aspects of various engagements including meeting the service need of developmental organizations. public companies and non-governmental organizations His specific roles included Planning, risk assessment, Strategy and reporting His general responsibilities while in KPMG and KIntola Williams DEloitte include managing professional staff and planning, directing and co-ordinating annual audit of clients accounts in accordance with professional and statutory requirements amongst other
Mr james was also engaged in carrying out monitory processes to ensure compliance with grants agreements in respect of grants obtained from major international donors to not-for profit oragizations which include society for health (SFH).Africen Development Foundation (ADF) UNICEF projects, united Nations, Action Aid International,Water Aid, Women Development Initiated (Women empowerment Program ) and Africare WISE projects(rural people development and empowerment programs).
